Lunch Time at UAI

University of Al Azhar Indonesia (UAI) is a famous university in Jakarta. It is placed in JL. Sisingamangaraja, Kebayoran, South Jakarta. It has good facility, educational system and teaching staff. No wonder, in several years UAI become one of favorite university.
UAI only has 1 building with 7 floors. With the increase number of students but no additional place for study, so that UAI become very crowded in certain time. Especially at the lunch time .
UAI has only one food court in its building. The food court is not a big place. It only has 4 stalls for food, 3 stalls for snacks and 2 stalls for ice cream and coffee. They are in a row. There are 3 fans to cooling customer. Because This food court is not special for students of UAI. People from other place can also sit and eat there.
When lunch time comes, this food court becomes an idol for everyone. They snatch to get seat on there because it doesn’t have many seat. So the seat on there is limited and everyone try to take a seat and eat there. Even this place become a very hot place, because no air conditioner and full of person but people keep try to take a sit there, and sometimes people get disappointed when they can’t get seat, and when they wait long for their food, even it happened everyday but they keep back to this place every day.
Not only food court but also lobby became crowded at that time. Students sit wherever they want, they place lobby, hall, and other corners of campus. They exist in every angle. Sometimes the security give them warning to move to right place, but they would say no more place for them to sit.
Beside these 2 places , food stalls in front of UAI building of course full of people, but because this place is outdoor so it has free air and it makes that place isn’t hot even people smoking there. This place is not only full of people but also full of cars that want to park in front of there. At that time, there will be traffic, because so many vehicles want to pass the street but avoided by parking car. Sometimes people shout from their car to another driver or they switch their horn strongly.
I think UAI needs to add building for their mobility, especially for lunch time. So the inconvenient at lunch time can’t happen again, because even lunch is small thing but it is important to support us doing our activity.
